I mostly agree with a large caveat. The reasons that I agree are pretty obvious (Pretty much the same reasons you disliked what he said).
ReplyDeleteHowever my opinion has been changed by this article in the Independent.
I find it especially convincing because as much as I disagree with a lot of what the Pope says, I distrust the media (particularly "news"papers) to such an extent that I find it much easier to believe that they've distorted what he said than that he actually said something so brutally undiplomatic a few days before Christmas.
